The children's power and control wheel is shown on the home page and is used to help identify the effects of witnessing and hearing the violence has on children.

2. Domestic Violence - a pattern of abusive and threatening actions used to dominate power and control over a spouse or in an intimate dating partner or spouse. An abusive partner uses many types of abuse. Domestic violence isn't just physical, it also includes sexual violence, threats and intimidation, stalking, digital, emotional, psychological, financial control, and spiritual abuse.

DOVES Network programming goals strive to be a healing network for youth, teens, and adults that have grown up and or dealing presently with domestic violence through support, community outreach and education, school, faith, and corporate training.
