Areas of Focus
We focus on two primary areas:
Childhood Domestic Violence (CDV) - when a person grows up living in a home with violence between their parents or violence towards a parent. The children's power and control wheel is shown on the home page and is used to help identify the effects of witnessing and hearing the violence has on children.
and the root cause of CDV...
2. Domestic Violence - a pattern of abusive and threatening actions used to dominate power and control over a spouse or in an intimate dating partner or spouse. An abusive partner uses many types of abuse. Domestic violence isn't just physical, it also includes sexual violence, threats and intimidation, stalking, digital, emotional, psychological, financial control, and spiritual abuse.
